LAST NIGHT..

I know it is a common thing that children do but it was our first time experimenting it. Last night Luke comes crying up stairs I go and ask him what is wrong and he tells me that he has a Lego stuck in his nose. Trying not to panic Tyler and I go ask Judie (Ty's mom) if she has any tweezers I could use. Thankfully with very little effort I was able to get it out. I have heard the horror stories of kids putting things in their noses I even remember growing up the neighbor boy put a bean up his nose and had it there for a while cause it was started to sprout. Hopefully Luke has learned his lesson and won't try putting any more Lego's or anything else up there.

Big Helper

Ty's parents are putting in a new bathroom in their basement and Luke has loved helping Scott with any thing he can. He helped hammer in nails, measuring and marking anything he could or couldn't, and of course the painting. Every morning he will ask, "Grandpa you need help?" Scott has been so great and patience with him it has been really great for me to have someone else to help entertain him during the day. Thank you Scott for the wonderful bathroom and all the fun Luke has had with you.

Stages

So anyone who has kids know that they go through different stages, and since all kids are different siblings will go through different ones. Right now I am experiencing one with Brooklyn that I never did with Luke. Brooklyn will not keep her pants on. It starts out that she will just wear them unbuttoned and a few minutes later they are off. Then to add to it she is going through those "terrible twos" so it is not even worth the fight to get them back on and try to keep them on. So my solution is dresses, some days we still fight the battle (when it is snowing) but is working.
I am not sure what Luke is doing in the background.

Happy Birthday Terra!

I got hear her read a story to Ramsey it was Cinderella she read it so good it sounded just like the movie, songs and all.

Today we went to lunch for Terra's birthday, and heard again her birth story. The one thing I always remember from her story is when my Dad held her for the first time he thought her hands were so beautiful. Now she has grown up to be such a beautiful woman and an amazing sister and mother. Here are some of the good memories I have of her growing up;
How well she played Barbies, we would play for hours.

She taught me how to bake, or how to clean up. When we would bake together I would always clean up while she did the baking. We now both do the baking and the cleaning.

When we had to clean our room we played this game us girls made up it was sort of tag, one person would pick up so many items then when you were done you tried to tag someone else then it was their turn. It definitely made cleaning so much more fun.

It always made everything we did as a family more fun cause I had my best friend with me. I am so glad to live close to her again. I love you Terra!
