Halloween!!

Tuesday the 27Th Luke had his preschool Halloween program. Ty was able to come cause he had the day off for his b-day. The program was so cute he did his part so well, and the last song they did was the one-eye one-horn flying purple-eater and all the kids were dancing during it. Luke busted his move! It was way too cute. On Halloween we went trick-r-treating with my sister-in-law and her kids. We went up to our friends the Keller's house cause they were handing our regular size candy bars. We hint up a few more houses around them, and almost all of them were handing out the big candy. At almost every house after Brooklyn got her candy she would say "thank you have a nice day" it was way too cute! The kids made out with a ton of candy and now I don't know what to do with it. I hope every one else had a good and safe Halloween.

It was so funny the girl next to him keep hitting him in the face with her wings

It had extra padding in the bum to make it so cute and big.

Labor Day Weekend

For labor day this year our family went camping up at the Unita National Forest up American Fork Canyon. It was a lot of fun, I wish we did more camping trips this year then we did. Oh well we have next year. We got home from Camping on Sunday then on Monday (Labor day) our family made a impulsive buy and got a new member of the family....

We got him at the Utah humane society, he is 5 months old and is so friendly even with the kids. We still do not have a name for him, we had one but we now don't think that we like it. So for right now we just call him kitty.

First day of school

I have sort of already blogged about this but here are some pictures of Luke on his first day of preschool.

Oregon trip

With the summer coming to a end the kids and I took a trip to Oregon for my little sisters wedding, a family reunion and to visit my mom. Terra and I drove the 13 hours there with the kids and that alone was its own adventure. Kate and Cody wedding was on the 15th, we all had a blast visiting with family and friends and dancing into the night. I really enjoyed watching my dad let loose on the dance floor. Shane came with his girlfriend Erin who is the sweetest gal. I was so glad to finally meet her and spend some time with her and my brother.

After the wedding we had a family reunion and my mom Ranch. It was a blast! We stayed in the bunkhouse, were Gib and I shared a room for the first night till Brooklyn threw up the second night so my mom stayed with us the next night. In the mornings we did pony rides for the kids which they loved and all look so cute in their little cowboy boots.

Our room.

We spent most of the day playing by the pool, it was fun and relaxing.

All of the Great-Grand kids.

On of the days some of us went up to the shooting range to go trap shooting. One of my favorite parts of the reunion. I did not do that well I shot 5 out of 25 but it was a blast up there with all of my cousins.

All of the family that came to the ranch.

After the reunion there was a second reception down in Gridley Ca. So Terra, mom and I with all the kids drove down there for it. It was also very beautiful. The next day we went with Cody's family to their house boat. We didn't get to stay long, but luke was able to go out for a tube ride with Kate.

We are finally back to normal here. Luke started Preschool on Tuesday and of course loves it. Poor Brooklyn gets upset ever time we leave after dropping him off asking me, "were is my Luke? "

hiking

On the 3rd of July, we thought it would be fun to take the kids on a hike up Mueller park canyon. Brooklyn very much enjoyed the hike hanging out in the backpack, Luke on the other hand had a hard time walking tripping over rocks, roots and his own feet. He was also wondering when it was snack time the moment we started. I guess we need to take him on more hikes so he can learn to enjoy them more.

Summer lovin

We have been having a great summer so far, we live really close to our Rec center that has a really fun swimming area outside. We have been spending most of our days there, it is a great way to use up all of the energy the kids have.

Luke, Ramsey, Brooklyn, and Paisley.

Luke falling asleep in the car after swimming, I don't know how he is comfortable enough to fall asleep.

Also with the thought that our family will be growing soon we thought it would be a good time to get a new car. Both Tyler and I vowed we would never own a van we have actually found how comfortable, and convince it is. It is loaded with all the goodies, DVD player, leather and heated seats, hide-away third row seat. Who knows maybe I will never want anything else but a van.
