Twenty-first century kids.

The other day as I was trying to make dinner and Brooklyn was fussing at me feet, I had the great idea to let her listen to my Ipod. I put on her favorite album, Mamma Mia and she sang along with it. It was so sweet hearing that little singing voice that I don't get to hear that often. When life is hard the little things like that just seem to make everything be okay. I am so thankful of the wonderful family that I have and the happiness they bring to me. They are my foundation when I am feeling a little weak.

Cousins!

Today the kids and I went up to Idaho falls and met up with my cousins, Kellene and Breanne with her daughter Aubrey. We had a great time at lunch and then went over to the mall and let the kids play. I love living close to family!

Brooklyn and Aubrey had so much fun playing in this tube.

We lucked out with this bus, it is one of those quarter toys and it was broken so it just kept going.

Sunday

Today was a big day for me, I had to give a talk in sacrament meeting. I have been able to get away with not having to give a talk for years and I am glad that with the encouragement from both my hubby and out bishop I said yes this time. I think I have only spoke one other time when I was a youth. In our family growing up if you said you were sick so you didn't have to go to church you were given a chore do to. I would take that chore cause in my mind that was better then having to give a talk. So when it was my month to talk I would not tell my parents and I would pretend that I was sick that Sunday.
