HAPPY HALLOWEEN

Happy Birthday Tyler.

Today as many of you already know is my wonderful husband birthday. How lucky am I to be in his life and to celebrate 5 birthdays with him. The first birthday I spent with him was our first date, after he waited the 3 day call back rule we hung out at his parents house and watched a movie that was on the 26th and it was just passed midnight when he dropped me off and told me it was his birthday. Now 5 years later, I woke up made him the Hansen's tradition of cinnamon rolls in the morning with a candle and we all sung happy birthday. I asked Luke what he liked about his dad, he told me that he loves playing Star wars with him and also when they fight (which is wrestling). He said that he is his best friend and loves to snuggle with him. He is the twinkle in Brooklyn's eye, every morning when we walks up the up the stairs she always greets him with the biggest smile and a hi in that sweet little voice of hers. What a great father he is, and the proof is in the actions of the kids.





I am such a lucky women to be married to him, I couldn't image life without him. Thank you Tyler for the beautiful life and family you have given me.

pumpkin carving.

Last night for family night we carved our pumpkins. This is one of my favorite parts of Halloween, we all had a lot of fun. Luke was a little grossed out by taking out the insides at first. If you can't tell Luke's is a bat face, I like his the best.

Today we all went to the pumpkin patch to get our pumpkins. I can't wait to carve them.

I got my baby back...


Well she was not gone physically but she had been really sick and was not herself. Saturday Brooklyn had a high fever, then finally on Monday we took her to the doctors where they suspected that she either had a bladder infection or a urinary track infection. They needed to do a catheter get a urine sample and since the nurses were too afraid to do it themselves they sent us to the ER.
After 2 1/2 hours there we find out that my poor little girl does have an urinary track infection, which is what cause the high fever. ( and is why she does not have clothes on in the pictures.)
I am pleased to announce that she is back to her cute happy self making funny faces at the camera.

Luke's First Day of Preschool!

Monday was Luke's first day of preschool! He was so excited to go and had a really fun time. He goes 3 days a week now! Crazy to think Luke is going to school. They grow up so fast! Here's a couple cute pics of Luke with his awesome Star Wars backpack and "Subydude" t-shirt.

Luke's Wardrobe Malfunction

So yesterday Luke had school, and we were all running a little late. I told Luke to go get dressed and then I went down stairs to get dressed myself and I hear Luke yell at me," Mom can I wear this?" I assumed he was referring to his own clothes. Ty went up stairs and there is Luke wearing what looks like Capri's? Upon closer look, Luke had put on a pair of Brooklyn's pants! Dad was beside himself with laughter and when mom came up stairs, well let's just say we were a bit hysteric. How Luke fit himself into size 18 months girls pants is beside me. Nevertheless the funniest moment of our week for sure!
